Oh, for those, you can generally upgrade all of the equipment that boost your stats like the arcane ring that boosts damage as long as they look like they are made of metal. You should be able to collect the necessary metals to upgrade all of your equipment. The current upgrade path is x -> silver -> gold -> mithril. I recommend upgrading the loot finder and then the things that are important for damage. Maximizing resource collection and damage output speeds up the grind I find.

Health potions to boost yourself when you health is low and mana potions when your mana is low. The plan is to sustain the battle of attrition as the fire golem does have a lot of health.

Stock up on potions and use spells that the golem is weak against like water, wind, and dark damage if I recall correctly.

The gold membership version on Patreon has cheats. Nel does make grinding more enjoyable though.

Sorry for the late response.  Beyond the equipment that boost willpower, the only other method is by wearing clothing that boosts willpower.

For your second question, I am not sure. What does the captain ask of you?

I'm not Deimus, but Patreon is usually a monthly payment service. It lasts for the month you pay and you get access to the current Patreon build for ToM forever (not future Patreon builds unless a new Patreon build comes out that month). There might be a yearly option but I am not certain.
